Add  delegate  responses  from  the  day  here:  quotes,  comments,  questions.  Jackie  -‐  Would  you  suggest  staff  members  start  up  a  professional  Twitter  account  to  encourage  networking  with  like  minded  professionals?    Jackie  -‐  we  monitor  all  activity  on  Moodle  and  Mahara  using  key  words,  where  a  keyword  has  been  used  we  monitor  the  conversation  to  check  content.  Are  we  breaching  any  learner  rights?  They  are  informed  at  induction  that  all  online  communication  is  monitored  by  keywords.  Jackie  -‐  What  about  accepting  ex  -‐  learners  as  friends  on  FB?

Quotes:  Georgina  Doxey  stated:  ‘I  believe  a  setting  like  a  [  page  should  be  set  up  and  the  students  should  be  able  to  have  lessons  on  it  in  a  controlled  setting  by  staff  they  should  be  able  to  see  what  social  media  bullying  looks  like’.  Rosie  Douglas  stated:  ‘SID  campaign  needs  to  be  by  students  for  students’.

There  was  a  question  on  finding  appropriate  CPD  for  staff  from  City  of  Bristol  There  are  resources  in  training  pages  of  the  infokit  (or  if  you  search  CPD)  for  all  needs:  Staff,  learners,  formal,  informal….  NB.  Please  mention  they  are  under  review  with  the  infokit.      http://www.jiscinfonet.ac.uk/infokits/e-‐safety/getting-‐started/staff-‐skills-‐cpd
