Sports Terms
A stadium plural stadiums or stadia is a place or venue for mostly outdoor sports, contests, or other events and consists of a field or stage either partly or completely surrounded by a tiered structure designed to allow spectators to stand or sit and view the event.

Spectator- a person interested in a particular sport discipline. They participate in tournaments , competitions , trainings and other sport performances.

On the football field two vertical posts and crossbar with the goal line on a football field form a limited space . Exceeding the goal line between the posts and under the crossbar causes a goal for the opposing team .
