-no ‘mile-wide’ and ‘inch-deep’ learning- more focused in order to bring about change in knowledge and skills.

10. Emphasis on self-evaluation
-feedback should be criterion-referenced-use rubrics11. Make use of an integrated
performance assessment-make connections between learning styles, intelligence, and the real world explicit in a way that is useful to both students and teachers.

-realistic performance over out-of-context drill items.-generate rather than choose-to actively accomplish complex tasks-acquiring relevant skills.
