PHASE• There is a need for curriculum committee

to study, report and make plans for the change in curriculum.

• Involvement of faculty ,administration and students in curriculum change.

• Reviewing of curriculum is the first phase of curriculum change, during first phase curriculum should be reviewed by committee to identify areas that need to be changed.

• The objectives, learning experiences provided, teaching and learning activities need to be studied.

• It is also necessary to get the views of student and experts in the field.

• Objectives have to be reviewed and changed as necessary.

when planning the change, there should be change throught the curriculum or only in the selected area and how should change be introduced. The objectives and philosophy should be examined – keeping in mind the required changes.

PHASE• Second phase.• Once curriculum has been finalized, course

modification steps have to taken. the change plan will be implemented by formulating objectives ,course content, learning methods, teaching approaches and evaluation process.

• The behavioral changes expected in the students with the implementation of the change have to be studied clearly.

• Evaluation methods and procedures are made at planning. evaluation must be used to monitor the progress of the student learning to determine the extent to which the objectives have been achieved and to find ways of improving teaching and learning methods.

• Implementing the plan of change in curriculum required a system development of the content ,learning experience and evaluation. There certain principles to be made use of when changing a curriculum. Change occurs within the institution and in the participants of change.
