PROGRESS OF MAGAZINE COVER

This is the original picture that I chose to use for my cover

I decided to change the colour of the background to white and then cropped it to make it bigger and have more space on the sides and above.

I thought of my magazine’s name and place on the top of the cover above the image of the star.

I began to add information of the contents of the magazine. I also tried to link the colour of the jumper to some of the letters of the text.

I inserted the name of my star and made fairly big and noticable.

In order to make sure the genre of the magazine was clear I added the names of some of the artist that belong to this genre at the top of the cover.

I felt that the colour of the text was that outstanding and that it wouldn’t attract people. So I decided to change the colour scheme and as you can see the name of the artist is clearer and the red text works better than the dark blue.

I then added a little more that could possibly outline the quality of the star’s life and make it clear to the reader how much of a star he is.

I began to add more information about the content and also added a barcode which makes it clear that the magazine must be bought and paid for.

Again, I added more information. And I also altered the positioning of the text and wrapped it to the side of the magazine in order to make it look neat.

Final coverFinally, I added the issue number, date, price of the magazine and the “exclusive” in order to make it clear to the reader that there is an exclusive article on the star inside the magazine.
