PROUD and DREAM are included in HR 4321 Comprehensive Immigration Reform for Americas Security and Prosperity Act of 2009 aka CIR ASAP

It is important that we pass CIR ASAP with BOTH the DREAM Act and PROUD Act

Is it true the PROUD Act is trying to replace

legislation that has already been introduced

No the PROUD Act addresses the increasing high

school drop out rate by incentivizing students to be

good students and citizens in order to obtain

citizenship

Why are the age requirements so strict

PROUD is a streamlined pathway to citizenship

Students that graduate with a high school

diploma have completed grades 6-12 in the US

and have good moral standing can apply for

citizenship once they turn 18

Why do we have PROUD when we have DREAM

The bills compliment each other This bill is NOT meant to overshadow the DREAM Act

I support the DREAM Act why should I support the PROUD Act

graduated from high school

can show they are of ldquogood moral characterrdquo

for the past 6 years

must be between the ages of 18-25 on the

date naturalization application is submitted

You can support both Together they cover thousands of students that would potentially be left out
