LOVE
1. First you need to organize your terms. This includes collecting all like terms to the same side and putting the equation into standard form.
2. Next you need to identify what numbers are a, b, and c.
• Ex. 80+5x=5x2-601. 5x2-5x+20=02. 5=a, -5=b, 20=c
ORGANIZE AND IDENTIFY
Remember, the formula is:
1.Insert the numbers into their respective locations.

1.First you square the a term.
2.You then find the product of 4ac.
3.You then subtract that product
from the square of a.

negative, remember to break down

1.Multiply the b term by negative one.
