There are nine elements to digital citizenship which are as follows:

Digital Access this means full electronic participation in

the society , not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to technology. (Digital Citizenship Module Manual, 2015)

Collaboration Fluency – Is about team-working capability characterized by unconscious ability to work cooperatively with both real & virtual partners.

Creative Fluency- Being able to come up with ideas and responses, across a variety of categories. (Digital Citizenship Module Manual, 2015)

Digital Fluencies Information Fluency – is the

ability to automatically at first sight interpret information in all forms and formats in order to extract the essential knowledge. (Churches, Jakes, & Crockett, 2011)

Solution Fluency – is about problem solving.

Media Fluency – is the ability to automatically interpret the messages contained in the media and ability to communicate in multiple multimedia formats.
