Audience feedback surveyI created a survey on Esurv, this let us ask the target audience direct questions that would be helpful for our feedback. As we asked direct questions the answers given were helpful for us to learn from and know which parts of the documentary were most successful. These were our results:

Audience feedback survey -Question 4 is one question that give very positive feedback, the results show that 100% of people thought that it was clear that all 3 products were related, this meant that we effectively achieved synergy between the 3 products. From this information we can repeat same process in future products as we know this is effective.

Audience feedback survey - In our survey we asked which is the audience's least favourite part of the documentary, this meant that we can use these answers as constructive criticism and learn from what the audience thought needed improving. In the question the results came back that the voiceover was the least popular feature in the documentary with 83% of people saying this. This is interesting as in question 8, about the professionalism of the documentary a comment was left that it was only semi professional the voiceover was poor. If were to undergo another project like this, we would consider the sound quality of the voiceover in more depth.

Video answers I recorded two people answering my questionnaire, this is useful as they can give longer and more detailed answers to the questions asked. I used to people in my target audience as this will let me know if the documentary has appealed to the target audience we intended it too.

In the first questionnaire video she says that both the print advert and radio advert would make her want to watch the documentary, this means that both of these products were successful in promoting the documentary. Most of the feedback was positive, including the contents of the interviews and the different range of bakers included. She said the least popular element of the documentary was the cutaways, this is something i can learn from and improve from.

In the second questionnaire video the feedback was again mostly positive. She Identified the main image and background of the print advert the best features which means that in other projects we would make sure what had a colourful print advert as they attracts attention. She also agree with the first video questionnaire and identifies a large range of different styles of baker's being included in the documentary.

Social media I also put the 3 products on my facebook page in order to receive feedback. Although not everybody that gave feedback was within my target audience it still gave us some comments about what they liked about the documentary. This is the feedback that I got -

Social media These comments are helpful as it lets us know which parts of our documentary was successful. A common comment is about the music, that it is upbeat and happy and relates well to the topic. This is something we can try and do again in future projects.

Documentary review I filmed a member of our target audience watching the documentary, this meant that we can receive live comments and feedback as a running commentary. This was useful as we got a full true impression. This again was mostly positive feedback.

Overall, from this feedback i have learnt that I am able to effectively create a documentary with the corresponding radio and print advert. All three aspects of our production was successful in drawing the audience's attention and intriguing them to know more on the topic of the documentary. One small piece of criticism we received was about the voiceover, from these comments and results we know that this is something we must pay extra attention to in future production work. We could do this through making sure the volume against the music bed is appropriate and that the recording is clear and understandable.
