Asya testifies

• “after reading The Secret my life changed. I started being positive and read any book whether they are fiction or non-fiction. Because now I realized that all books you read, you learn from them, and you will think 'out of the box' after reading various types of books. You will have a general idea of such topics and issues”

• “Last year we noticed Arabic content on Wikipedia was pretty low. The Indonesian version had 60 million words, the Portuguese version had 140 million, but the Arabic version had only 22 million. This was a joke considering that 350 million people speak Arabic.”

The Reading Mother remains a common sentiment on Mother's Day Strickland Gillilan (1869–1954

The Reading Mother I had a mother who read to me

Sagas of pirates who scoured the sea.Cutlasses clenched in their yellow teeth;"Blackbirds" stowed in the hold beneath.

I had a Mother who read me laysOf ancient and gallant and golden days;

Stories of Marmion and Ivanhoe,Which every boy has a right to know.

I had a Mother who read me talesOf Gelert the hound of the hills of Wales,

True to his trust till his tragic death,Faithfulness lent with his final breath.

I had a Mother who read me the thingsThat wholesome life to the boy heart brings-

Stories that stir with an upward touch.Oh, that each mother of boys were such!

You may have tangible wealth untold;Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.

Richer than I you can never be --I had a Mother who read to me.

little girl came home from school and said to her mother, "Mommy, today in school I was punished for something that I didn't do." The mother exclaimed, "But that's terrible! I'm going to have a talk with your teacher about this ... by the way, what was it that you didn't do?" The little girl replied, "My homework."

Short Stories - InspirationalSand and Stone

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the

face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one, who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but

the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE."

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"

The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something

good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it." LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND, AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE
