In every library there is a card catalog or a computer catalog.

A card catalog lists all of the books the library contains. Information in a card catalog is written on paper cards that are filled in drawers.

Today, more and more libraries use a computer catalog, in which information is entered on a computer program. Either catalog is the place to go to begin your search for information.
