Circulo Hispano--Filipino student organization in Madrid 1888--At British Museum, Rizal had pieced together the history of the Philippines which revealed that even before the coming of the Spaniards; the Filipinos already had a developed culture.
Morga’s Sucesos de las Islas Filipinas--Rizal made notes on this because of its objective representation of life in the Philippines at the time of the arrival of the Spaniards.--Morga devoted a long final chapter to the study of Filipino customs, manners and religions in the early years of the Spanish conquest.
