What is RYLA?Rotary Youth Leadership Awards- A Rotary program designed to develop leadership skills in young adults.

• Encourage and Assist young people in responsible and effective voluntary leadership by providing them with a valuable training experience

• Do you consider yourself to be leadership material?• Have you held or ever wanted to hold a leadership

position in your school or community?• Have you ever been involved with community

service?• Do you have a good academic record?• Are you willing to embrace the philosophy of the

workshop and be prepared to engage in the activities wholeheartedly?

How to Get Started

• Receive Permission from your parent(s) or guardian(s) to attend the academy

• Complete the RYLA Application (due March 7, 2014)

• Return your Application (info. on last page)

• Once chosen, Complete the RYLA Registration form you receive and return it in a timely manner

• Attend a Meeting with your Sponsoring Club before RYLA
