The Plan and Report with IBPF lab will take you through a planning and ECC integrationlife cycle from and end user perspectiveThere is a business scenario that will be followed for the rest of the labs except the lasttwo (in the End to End lesson). The business requirement that you will follow calls for theuse of a provisional characteristic that will allow the addition of master data in addition towhat exists in ECC. Although you may not require this at your client or place of business itis nonetheless a great way to learn how to adapt the SFIN off the shelf content.The labs focus on adapting delivered SFIN content as opposed to bare metal scenariossince that will be theme on IBPF projects.During the course you will get plenty of hands on in BW, IP, HANA, Analysis, ECC andBPC which is quite a bit - just remember that there are literally dozens of classes thataddress these topics. Allactivities can be performed on the ECC client unless the Warehousing Workbench isneeded in which case you will use client 900 for class. In most customer installations,only one client will be used. We are only using two clients because it is a training server.

Integrated Business Planning for finance comes embedded with the SAP Business Suite onSAP HANA where the SAP Simple Finance Add-on for Suite on HANA is being utilized.

Provides significant off the shelf content including templates and calculations coveringmultiple planning scenarios

Allows Companies using traditional financial planning within ERP to rapidly implement whileprotecting their existing investment (Minimizes cost and time to implement)

Takes advantage of HANA views that support direct real time access to ERP Master dataand the Fl-CO document tables.

You need to know how to copy and modify a delivered $FIN Query. Since $FIN queries have keyfigures that are restricted by InfoProvider, you need to know how to incorporate your own customInfoProviders.
