STAY IN YOUR SEAT , ON YOUR BOTTOM !!!

SCHOOL BUSSES TRAVEL OVER 4 BILLION MILES A YEAR AND CARRY OVER 24 MILLION STUDENTS TO AND FROM SCHOOL

They have a rate of .02 deaths per 100 million miles travelled . Much safer than in a car ,

four times safer as a matter of fact.

But no matter how safe these statistics are , it is always a gut wrenching feeling when you read or hear about any injuries or fatalities involving children .

School bus safety cannot be ignored , all drivers and parents must be extra careful on the roadways around school buses!!!!

Kentucky Fines and Penalties

1. 1st offense for passing a school bus with the light on is $500-1

year in jail and six points off your license !!

2. 2nd offense is to be more severe including automatic suspension of

license !!!!
