A peninsula is a piece of land surrounded on nearly all sides by water. It is connected to a larger body of land

A gulf is a large area of ocean partly surrounded by land.

A cape is a high point of land that sticks out (sobresalir –

An inlet is a bay, stream, or other narrow body of water that leads inland from a shore (coast).

A fjord is a long, narrow ocean inlet that passes between high and rocky banks (orilla) or steep cliffs (acantilado).
