Aims and Objectives

Mentoring trainee teachers was already a strength of the participating schools and so the group decided to;

• work with the ITT providers and others to devise a school based programme to develop mentoring/coaching skills

• use the programme with identified staff members working with trainee teachers within their own schools

• work with a link school/s and ITT providers to deliver outreach training to support mentors/coaches
