Theme : My Dream Sport

The theme of shOObh arts Competition is “My Dream Sport”, children aged between 5 - 17 are invited to think of how Sport of your dream will contribute to build a Healthier community and then depict such a dream into a drawing paper. Teachers are also welcome to participate.

• Promote Outdoor Sports among Children.• Promote Common Wealth Games 2010.• Supply Sports & Art material among Poor and

Needy Children.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Participants must be between 5 – 17 years of age.

2. Participants must be bona fide students of the school they participate through.

3. The competition is open to all school children.

4. Participant could also be a foreign national.

Closing Date

Entry will be mailed or submitted to the shOObh Collection Centers (States) and further send to shOObh Collection Centers (Delhi) by 15 August 2010.

• shOObh Board, propose to invite other common wealth nations to participate in this event.

Examination process

Shortlisting: 16-08-2010 to 04-09-2010 at shOObh Examination Centers (Delhi).Grade-A entries (700 in number) will be shortlisted by the Jury by 4th September, 2010 and handed over to head of Jury on 5th September, 2010.

Result: Three best entries in each category will be selected by the Head of the Jury and the Judges. The Chairman will announce the result on 5th September, 2010 (Teacher’s Day) Evening.

Award Ceremony

Prize & Certificate of Merit: • Three selected finalists in each category will receive

a Medal & a Certificate of Merit.Award ceremony: • The winners will be awarded on 9th October,

Grade-A entries will be displayed at shOObh Exhibition Centers across India during

CWG-2010.

5. shOObh Board, propose to exhibit winning entries at visitors gallery at Khel Village during CWG-2010.

6. shOObh Board, propose shOObh Arts Cartoon series exhibition by Cartoonist, Shri Udayshankar ji at Press club of India during CWG-2010.

Handling of the Entries & Intellectual Property

Entries will not be returned. All entries shall remain the property & copyright of shOObh Group & could be used or reproduced by the shOObh Group for public education & awareness activities & any other purpose as deemed appropriate by the board.

1. shOObh board, propose to give scholarship to the

participants from the receipt of the amount of the sale of the paintings in exhibitions during CWG-2010.

2. shOObh Board, propose to start “shOObh Arts Center” from the receipt of the amount of the sale of the paintings of the Jury in exhibition at Khel Village during CWG-2010.

3. shOObh board, propose a shOObh painting Collage/ Mosaic by the jury members (01-07-2010 to 15-08-2010) at Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi.
