1 CU Pan-right Mid

Put up wallpaper and tear some, place some

long torn pieces on the floor. Low-key lighting.

(Use a reflector? - in case it is too dark)

2 MLS Locked off Mid

Put duct tape vertically on windows (represent

the barred windows). Place sheer curtains so that the female character can brush past it.

3a CU Locked off Mid Pencil rolls off table (cross-cut shot).

3b CU Locked off Mid Pencil falls on the floor.

4 XCU Locked off Low Shows the curtain moving slightly.

5 CU Locked off Mid The door is slightly open. Key is shown on the

floor.

6 MLS Zoom in Mid Female character’s back is facing the camera.

She is rocking back and forth.

7 XCU Locked off High/Mid The female character is shaking as she tries to

pick up the pencil.

8 XCU Locked off Mid Female character is looking around the room

frantically.

9 MS Locked off Mid Female character’s back is still facing the audience. She starts crawling to the desk.

10 MS Tracking Mid The camera follows to the back of the female

character’s head. The screen cuts to black.

11 POV Locked off High

The fades in and out (to mimic blinking). The female character is writing in her journal.

Demonic voices gradually fade in.

12 POV Whip pan Mid Female character looks to her right - bed is

shown, and a shadow on the wall.

13 XCU Locked off Mid

The demonic voices are getting louder -

female character is trying to cover her ears (blocking out the noise). Her face is not

revealed yet.

14 XCU Locked off Mid Female character is looking down - writing in

her journal. Her eyebrows are knitted together.

15 XCU Locked off Mid Shuffling can be heard - female character

turns around.

16 POV Locked off High

Female character closes her journal. The

demonic voices die down. Screen cuts to black

17 MS Track Mid Female character is crawling back to where is

was sat in the beginning of the film.

18 MLS Zoom out Mid Female character looks down and when the

shot zooms out, Will (her husband) is revealed.

19 MLS Locked off Mid

The female character is looking at Will, who is lying unconscious on the floor. The key can

also be seen - symbolic.

20 CU Locked off High Will, is groaning (unconscious), rubbing his

head.

21 MS Locked off Mid Female character crawls over Will - crawls

back to her desk.

22 CU Locked off Mid She is crawling to the desk, and a

figure/shadow can be seen behind her.

23 CU Locked off Mid Female character stands up, slowly walks to

her desk.

24 CU Tracking Mid The camera follows from behind her head to

the front of her.

25a CU Vertical Pan Mid Slowly reveal the female character.

25b CU Locked off Mid

The female character’s appearance is better.

Her hair is shorter (?)/groomed. This is how

would appear in the beginning of the film. She

smiles.
