FACE SEN Consultation project - 3 main
objectives
• To raise awareness of the consultation
• To give families alternative methods to give
their views
• To capture more information.

FACE SEN Consultation project
• Trained 12 parent carers
• Created a leaflet - TEXT SEN
• Promotion using FACE- website-Facebook-Twitter-email
• Leaflets sent to special schools, children centres, short break
providers, support groups, universal settings
• Face to face basis at Afterschool clubs, Saturday clubs, Holiday
Clubs
• Names for phone calls which were made at an agreed time
• Created an easy read version which was used mainly on email
although some face to face.
