• The beauty of the Prophet was compared to the beauty of the moon

• Many people accepted the Prophet just by looking at his face – ex. The chief Rabbi of the Jews in Madina. As soon as he looked at the Prophet, he said he knew that this is not the face of a liar. After one conversation, he converted to Islam.

• The Prophet had much inner beauty humility and kindness.

• The Prophet never ate rice because that was not a commodity in Arabia

• He was conscious of every blessing given to him

• He frequently rode donkeys even though he had camels

• During the Battle of Badr, he was given the task of distributing camels. There were approximately 315 people at Badr and there were roughly 75 camels. 3 or 4 people had to share each camel.

• The Prophet was with Ali and Abu Lubaba to share a camel

Page 8: Sl2.2 Seerah of the Prophet Muhammed (sws)

• The two that were sharing the camel with the Prophet said that the Prophet could ride the camel

• They used the excuse that they are younger than him

• Given that he is the leader, it would only make sense for him to get more protection and respect

• He could have said ok, fine but instead he said that neither are you guys stronger than me nor am I not in any less need to get the reward of walking

• So they ended up sharing the camel
