What activities are SocialErasmus?
Officially: “SE is an international project of ESN with the aim of involving international students participating in a university exchange in social and volunteering activities in their host country. This project promotes a social attitude among international students and facilitates their social integration into the local community while exploring the added value that resides in the diversity in Europe”3
What activities are SocialErasmus?
Minimum requirements to label an activity as SocialErasmus:1) International students shall have an active role2) The action shall have a positive effect on/to the local
community or part of the community3) The positive effect / added value is directly created
through voluntary actions of international students
Additional Benefits:• The action has a positive impact on the international
student• The activity includes direct contact between
international students and the local community

What can Sections do?
Choose a National Social Erasmus Coordinator• Only 6 missing!
Plan activities• For all year long and especially during SocialErasmus
WeekApply for co-funding opportunities for SocialErasmus Week• SocialErasmus Week will be held from 4th to 11th May 2012• Applications should be sent to the international coordinator
until December• Funding opportunities for 10 big national events and 60
locals
Participate in the SocialErasmus Coordinators Training Meeting• Trondheim, Norway from 19th to 23rd January 2012
