Family law refers to the: introduction of all pieces of legislation relating to families regulation of relationships within the family using these legislations laws concerning marriage, divorce, custody and care of children, domestic violence and inheritance

Why is Family Law Important?

What is the Domestic Violence Law?

To assist you in breaking up with him, and disabusing his mind that he has any right of access to your property or your person, you should go to the Family Court (or Resident Magistrate's Court if there is no Family Court in your parish) and make applications under the Domestic Violence Act of 2004
