Government is necessary for a number of reasons. Some of these reasons are:

1.To regulate the economy.

2.To provide for military.

3.To establish laws and order.

4.To provide public services.

5.Law Enforcement and Administration.

6.Settlement of Disputes.

7.Preservation of the State.

8.Getting Things Done.

9.Taxation

Universal Adult Sufferage began. This meant that adults had the right to vote. The Governor asked the leader of the major party in the House of Representatives to form the government. There were several differences between the Constitutional Monarchy and Republicanism.

•Constitutional Monarchy is subject to the conditions of a constitution and a legislature. Persons are guided by law and the queen is still the Head of State. (A Parliamentary System)

•In Republicanism however, this form of government is based on a Presidential system . In the Republic the President was hither elected or nominated.
