Speciality CoursesPublic CoursesUSER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (2 DAYS)This course familiarises participants with the basic principles of software testing and equips them with the skills necessary to achieve the objective of their user acceptance test. By the end of the course, participants will understand good practices for software testing and have the skills necessary to plan, prepare, execute and evaluate user acceptance tests.
SCRIPTING AND SQL FoR TESTERS (2 DAYS)This course empowers testers to use the full potential of their test automation skills using VB scripting, maintain their own test data using SQL and cover requirements utilising SQL and scripting skills. Other scripting languages are available for in-house delivery.
TEST AUToMATIoN (2 DAYS)Participants will come away from this course with an understanding of how to plan and approach the automation of testing on a project to deliver business goals. This course discusses how to identify key areas for automation such as unit, integration, system, performance and acceptance testing activities.
SMALL TEAM LEADERSHIP (2 DAYS)During this course you will learn methods for dealing with difficult people, and how to successfully manage the delegation of work. We will help you create a process for effective coaching and teach you techniques for building your interpersonal communication skills. This workshop provides you with common-sense skills to better guide your team.
AGILE FACILITATIoN (2 DAYS)This course provides an experiential and theoretical understanding of how collaborative workshops can be run and how each member can contribute to the team to achieve maximum effectiveness, while identifying potential pitfalls and how to avoid or address them.
AGILE FUNDAMENTALS (3 DAYS)Become a Certified ICAgile Professional with this 3-day course that explains the flow, the processes and the environment of Agile projects, giving participants an overall understanding of Agile tools and techniques used in delivering value.
AGILE TESTING (2 DAYS)Learn how to adapt your existing skill set to maximise your contribution in an Agile project environment where you will work on all test levels, change is the norm and short iterations of work continuously deliver working software.
AGILE CoNCEPT PHASE START ME UP (2 DAYS)This course covers the first phase of an initiative, the “concept phase” or “Agile business case”. You will take a case study through each of the seven concept steps – discover, desired outcomes, high level features, invention, high level design, high level estimates, plan and proposal – looking at the deliverables from each step and the techniques used to produce them.
In-house DeliveryEXPLoRAToRY TESTING (1 DAY)Exploratory testing is not an excuse to not document, cut corners or “just follow your nose”. It is a structured, disciplined and advanced technique that can be used to maximise the return on investment from the test team. This course introduces planning, key techniques, tracking, tools and reporting with reference to Exploratory Testing.
RISk BASED TESTING (1 DAY)This course shows how risk fits into the test process. It introduces risk identfication, risk assessment and risk management. Various types of risk analysis are explored and participants will learn how these can be used to focus testing.
wEB TESTING (2 DAYS)This course is your chance to really understand and practice solutions to the challenges faced when testing web applications including – website testing approaches, functional testing, compatibility & configuration testing, performance and security.
