The Aguinaldo Shrine is the national shrine located in Kawit, Cavite where the 

independence of the Philippines from Spain was declared on June 12, 1898. To

commemorate the event, now known as Araw ng Kalayaan or Independence Day, the 

Philippine flag is raised here by top government officials on June 12th each

year.

Pagsanjan Falls is one of the most famous 

waterfalls in the Philippines. The falls is one of the major tourist attractions of the region. The three-drop waterfall is reached by a river trip on dugout canoe, known locally as Shooting the

rapids. The falls can also be reached from the top

by a short hike from Cavinti.

 Mt. Makiling is a dormant volcano in Laguna. The mountain rises to an elevation of 1,090 m (3,580 ft) 

above sea level and is the highest feature of the Laguna Volcanic Field. The volcano has no recorded

historic eruption but volcanism is still evident through geothermal features like mud spring and

hot springs.

The Seven Lakes of San Pablo (Filipino: Pitong Lawa ng San Pablo) are seven crater lakes scattered around the

City of San Pablo, in the province of Laguna.

 This is the popular and main tourist attraction in Batangas. The scenic enchanting view of the Volcano island can be seen in Tagaytay City. The volcano is

surrounded by lake. Taal Volcano became popular and world renown because both the lake and the volcano are

situated on the crater of an extinct volcano.

The cathedral was built in honor of St. Sebastian. The design of the cathedral was inspired by Romanesque tradition. The church has circular dome, massive walls and balconies. The cathedral is so magnificent that its

architecture describes Lipa's ancestors.

Daranak Falls is nestled between the mountains of Sierra Madre. The 14-meter high falls cascade from

rocks to a catch basin of emerald waters where visitors enjoy a refreshing cool bath. The endless flowing water and the luscious green vegetation surrounding creates a serene atmosphere except

for the huge number of visitors and the loud videoke echoing around the area.

The Cathedral of Antipolo was designated as the National Shrine of the Virgin of Our Lady of

Peace and Good Voyage in 1954.

Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon

Pahiyas Festival is an ancient celebration dating back to the 16th century. The celebration is in honor of San Isidro Labrador,

the patron saint of farmers. The farmers of Lucban, Quezon express their thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest with a grand

display of colorful rice wafers, fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts adorning every house in the town.
