About TCMWas set up in 1997 by The TCM Administration Bureau of Zhejiang Province and Health Bureau of Zhejiang Province. It receives over 200 foreign doctors and students every year. They respectively come from America, German, Israel, Switzerland, Australia, Korea, Canada, and England for short term TCM practice and long term research. All the participants of IEC- have the chance to practice Acupuncture, Herbs and Massage in the Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. The hospital has a staff of 1000. Among them, 205 are senior medical experts, and 33 are state-honored prominent TCM physicians and provincial noted TCM professors.It has a total of 16 wards with 800 inpatient beds, 26 clinical departments, 65 specialist clinics, one CCU and one ICU. The number of patients treated in the outpatient departments of the hospital is over 1,000,000 and the number of inpatients is over 10,000 annually.There are eight research labs in the hospital, specializing in the following: Digestive Disorder, Haematology, Tumors, Pharmacology, Lung Function, Immune-Kidney Disorder, Neurology and Nursing.
