The Law Cyberbullying is a criminal offence if the aggressor is charged under :
• The Protection from Harassment Act 1997
• The Malicious Communications Act 1988
• Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 • Public Order Act 1986
• The Defamation Acts of 1952 and 1996

• Education & Inspections Act 20016 ‘Head teachers have a statutory power to discipline students for poor behaviour outside of the school premises. Students
should report bullying which has occurred outside school including cyberbullying.’
