These Graphs have been taken of the BFI website.

The graph show me the frequency of people watching film on different platforms. It shows that next to DVD/ Blu-Ray, Online is the next place people watch films. This tells me that with in Britain, audience like to watch film on the internet in a week rather than at the cinema or on the mobile devices. It also give me an indication that I should try and target my film at 15-24 year old and 25-34 years old as they seem to be the highest percentages that watch film on the internet on the graph above.

The graph tells me the type of films audiences like to watch. It shows me that independent film such as mine will not be watched by many as audiences like big budget blockbuster and film with special effects. This indicated to me that the market for my film will be a small one. It also doesn’t show me a clear divided where men or females will watch my film more as there is only a 1% difference.

This graph shows me which genres are the most popular and where male or female watch the genre. My film will be an Action film. It is the second on the graph showing that it showed be popular amongst British audiences suggesting to me that I will have a large target audience to attract to my film. Also it tells me that I should target my audience at the male audience as they seem to be the audience that are most like going to watch my film.
