model posing with background out of focus. • Purpose: to sell some sort of product e.g. make

up or perfume• Meaning: implying that if you bought the

product it would make you glamorous like the women in photograph.

Sport • Description: this is one of the most iconic

photographs in sport. It shows Mohammed Ali defeating his opponent.

• Purpose: its to show his success and how good he is at his sport.

• Meaning: if you put a lot of effort into something you want to do you can achieve it if you just believe in yourself.
