1. The first question I asked was a simple male or female question. It came back with over 70% being female. Due to this answer I am going to tailor my magazine to a more female audience, tailoring things like colour schemes, fonts and the articles to more feminine things and to want women will want to read. I think that creating a magazine will also be easier as I feel they are easily please and distracted into bright colours, nice fonts and artists on the cover. This answer also means that women are more interested in buying magazine so tailoring it to women's need would be the best idea. 2. The second question I asked was; How Old Are You? I came back with the 16-21 bracket being the highest voted. Due to this answer I know that I will aim my magazine at this age range. I feel as though this age range will also be the easiest of the 4 as they are the most common age to buy magazines. As I am in this age range I will find it easier to produce appealing aspects of the magazine. The second highest is 30+ this is a section that I would find difficult to produce for as I am unaware of what they like and would want to seen on a magazine cover. 3. The Third question was; Have you ever subscribed to a magazine (of any kind)? With this question I found that the answers were very close and that YES only won by a small margin. By knowing this, I know that I need to add a subscription feature into my magazine. Below we can also see there are a few of the responses from the people who answered NO, most people have said that the subscriptions are too expensive and others have said that they would rather have a paper copy, this is the main reason I will be creating a paper copy. By knowing this I can tailor my magazine to these needs. 4. The forth question was; Out of these 3 music genres, which would you listen to the most? With this question the most popular genre came back to be pop (popular music), using this answer I will be tailoring my magazine to aim at an audience who listen to pop music. The other possible answers were rock/emo and indie these both receive 22% of the answers. Pop came back with just under 55% of the votes (over half) so we know that this is the most popular out of the 3 choices, hence why I have chose to use it. Knowing this will allow me to select specific colour combinations that relate to this style of magazine (mainly bright and eye catching colours) and to think more about the fonts and images I will use. 0 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 Under 16 16 - 21 22 - 30 30+ How Old Are You? 8. The eighth question that was asked was; what format of a magazine appeals to you the most? From the5 answers (Simple, Stylish, Busy,Informative and Colourful) people were aloud to select as many options as they wanted not just one. The highest answer wasstylish with colourful and simplerunning close behind respectively.Knowing this I now know that Ineed a Simple, Stylish andColourful magazine that isn't too busy (as this was the least popular answer) by doing this I Will appeal to the largest bracket of the market I can. As the informative bracket still scored relatively high (4th with over 17% of the vote) with I will need to take this also into consideration and provide readers with snippets of informative text throughout the magazine. (e.g. charts or new albums/songs coming out soon)

7. The seventh question that wasasked was; What would you say isthe most interesting aspect of an article? From all 3 answers(imagery, informative text or interviews)the highest voted for this was interviews with just under 50% of the vote. Now knowing this I know what totailor the things that will befeatured in my magazine. Thehighest percentage of articles willbe interviews and lots of imagesrelating to the articles and thingsin the magazine. As informative text came back as the lowest answer I will not really include much of this, it will be more informal and relaxed pieces of text like interviews, story's and write-ups from photography shoots, inside and outside the studio. The imagery will need to be good quality (generally taken in a studio) and be related directly to the article it is replicating.

6. The sixth question that was asked was; What attracts you most to the cover of a music magazine? From all 3 answers, giveaways/freebies, artist/band on the cover or inside stories) the highest voted for was artist/band on the cover with over 60%. Also coming second was inside story's with just over 20%.Looking at these results I know that in my magazine in need to have lots of interesting and appealing stories within the articles. I also know that I need to incorporate a clear and well photographed image of a well known pop band/artist on the cover as this was my highest answer.

5. The fifth question that was asked was; Name thefirst two MUSIC magazines that come into your head. As this was an open question I received 57 individual answers. A lot ofthe answers said I don’t know or things like this. Although I received a lot answers I don’t feel as though many were relevant to type of magazine I want to produce or help me in deciding what magazine I want to produce.Non of these answeres will not be used to influence my ideas for my actual magazine.

9. The ninth question to be asked was; In a music magazine, what is the most important content? From the 3 answers (artist/band interviews, reviews or Weekly monthly charts) theHighest voted came through As specific artist/band interviews.Knowing this I now know that I need to incorporate this, without a doubt, into my magazine. There was a 4th option that was an other options from this I got a couple of other ideas to put into my magazine, such as; Exclusive content and entertaining story's. This could be something I could put in as I know it is what people want.

10. The tenth question that was asked was; would you consider reading magazines online or on an app? From the YES/NO answers options the heights voted was YES. From this Iknow that I need to place an app or internet advertinside my magazine so thatpeople can read it onthere phones/iPads/laptops if needs be. For the people who selectedno, there was a why section that needed to be filled in, most people stated that that would rather hold it in there hands and have the paper copy rather than having an online magazine.
