I have asked a group of people who are interested in my genre about the type of music and what

they like to see in the magazines. This was to gain a better understanding of both my target

audience and what they will like to see in the magazine.

The first question in which I asked was the gender on the people do my questionaire to find out the average gender of my target audience.

The second question was the age of the audience. The post popular age was 18-20 year olds. This is a small interval for a question like this, but gave an accurate result.

I have picked out a few answers for the 3rd question which seem most reliable. The activities that

came up most in the question of interests for my target audience was: that they like listning to

music, socialising and going out partying. This shows that the sort of audienc who buy these magazine enjoy the party atmosphere so the music would be crucial to them.

Again a series of answers that came up most in my question for, ‘what do you look for when buying

a magazine’ was the idea of have a good colour scheme, and popular artists and content. So when I

make my cover, I need to include buzz words like ‘Hot’ and ‘amazing’ to show off the types of artists who are in my magazine.

The types of stories and interviews in which my target audience like to see are new events and

gossip. This is a good idea to mention on my front cover about eye grabbing gossip and events but

with out giving to much away.
