is a confrontation with fears

Lesson 2: Fear is healthy!
• Fear exists for a reason – it keeps us alive & safe
• Only the insane don’t have some fear
• Fear can be…– Physical– Psychological– Social

• Everybody else is scared too
• Their fears may be different than yours
• Admit yours & you’ll be amazed at who else is scared
• This builds the support network

• You can’t keep up the pressure indefinitely
• You are far less effective if you are– Sick– Grumpy– Stressed-out
• Simple rituals away from the team renew you

Lesson 8: Answer the call to lead
• You will feel the call when you are ready
• Your confidence has grown & you are helping others
• You need to keep growing as well
