Delicious is one of the best discoveries I have made this semester. I enjoy how I can look for various websites that I can bookmark. Delicious not only store my favorite sites but it provides me with other sites similar to mine. Delicious definitely provides the best social bookmarking service online.

• Google is a web based company that provides an ever expanding set of applications to meet various online needs. Google has grown to be one of the most popular search engines used. Google also provides Picasa a web album that enables users to edit, share, and store their photos. It also has an email service, gmail, that provides its users with very useful applications. The email service also allows users to video chat, instant message, or call other gmail users.

• Moodle is a wonderful tool that allows for an easily accessible line of communication between educators and students. Moodle gives educators the ability to manage assignments and deadlines. Students are able to view their grades as well as communicate with teachers and classmates via chat rooms. I know that this will be something very useful for me in the future.

• Mozilla Firefox is a fast and safe web browser that has many features, and best of all it’s free. Firefox is also customizable to meet every user’s needs. I also like how it provides users with tips and tricks to help users get the most out of firefox.

• Prezi is an awesome tool that allows its users to create astonishing presentations live on the web. Prezi is quite difficult to use for first time users, but there are tutorials and manuals that will help first timers navigate on the site with ease.

• Slideshare is an awesome tool that allows people to share the presentations publicly or privately. Slideshare also allows users to find interesting presentations and join groups that have topics that appeal to the user. Uploading powerpoint presentations are also very easy, this tool is something that can be very useful for teachers and students

• Teacnology has to be one of my favorites because it is a website geared for educators. Teachnology provides worksheets, lesson plan ideas, and many other teacher resources. The best part is that it also provides educators with a way to create fun websites fit for their classrooms.
