The first step of the journey was selecting the tools and learning how to use them. The destination was transformational! 11. 1. Increase student motivation, active engagement in learning and improve learning outcomes and achievement. 2. Improve teachers capacity to plan for and meet individual student needs by adapting teaching practice and assessments to accommodate personalized learning enabled by the technology. 3. Test the use of e-books and digital learning resources enabling access and sharing on personal devices and how that can impact on learning outcomes as well as cost of study. 12. Initial set up and training of self service model First 4 weeks support and training sessions compulsory built into class time, 1 on 1 optional Technical questions and support moved into online forum for the rest of the semester 17. It is not about knowing the tools or how many tools you know how to use. The important things are: having a toolbox full of opportunities to transform learning, and a pedagogical approach supported by a theoretical framework 18.
