This lesson will be the last one of the Telling time topic. It will be a summary of the contents we have been dealing with and we want our students to be able to tell the time using both type of clocks analog and digital. We have been working on this in the sessions before so our students have a previous knowledge about the contents. -To tell the time using both type of clocks (analog and digital) -Power point presentation -group work activities We want our students to recognise the time in all type of clocks In the first activity the one they have a clock flashcard ( some of them the analog ones and some of them the digital ones)and they have to move around the classroom to match their times, SEN students will work in groups of 3 instead of 2 and the teacher will be close all the time helping and supervising they are understanding the task. In the second activity where they have a board game with different times and again they have to match the same time in the digital and the analog clock they will be 3 different type of worksheets according to the specific level of the students. (Just o'clock times for those ones who have more difficulties, a second option that will have o'clock and half past times and a third possibility where the y will have quarter to and quarter past) Different ways of asking and telling the time: "What time is it?" / "What's the time?" / "Could you tell me the time please?" O'clock, quarter past, half past, quarter to ....minutes before / ...... minutes past During the power point presentantion we will make them check and concept questions. During the group work and pair activities we will move around the different groups to check their understanding. Oral feedback in their carpet places TELLING TIME Power point presentation to summarise all the contents we have been learning about the time in the unit and to check kids understanding. Activity one: Half of the students in the class will have a flashcard with a digital clock and the other group of students will have the same times but in an analog clock. They will move around the classroom asking their partners "What time is is in their clocks?" in order to find the person who has the same time. In this activity they will practise their oral skills. In the second activity they will play in couples. They have a board game with different times in analog and digital clocks and throwing a dice they have to colour the clocks that have the same time. Page 1: Telling time lesson plan

This lesson will be the last one of the Telling time topic. It will be a summary of the contents we have been dealing with and we want our students to be able to tell the time using both type of clocks analog and digital. We have been working on this in the sessions before so our students have a previous knowledge about the contents.

-To tell the time using both type of clocks (analog and digital)

-Power point presentation

-group work activities

We want our students to recognise the time in all type of clocks

In the first activity the one they have a clock flashcard ( some of them the analog ones and some of them the digital ones)and they have to move around the classroom to match their times, SEN students will work in groups of 3 instead of 2 and the teacher will be close all the time helping and supervising they are understanding the task.

In the second activity where they have a board game with different times and again they have to match the same time in the digital and the analog clock they will be 3 different type of worksheets according to the specific level of the students. (Just o'clock times for those ones who have more difficulties, a second option that will have o'clock and half past times and a third possibility where the y will have quarter to and quarter past)

Different ways of asking and telling the time:

"What time is it?" / "What's the time?" / "Could you tell me the time please?"

O'clock, quarter past, half past, quarter to

....minutes before / ...... minutes past

During the power point presentantion we will make them check and concept questions.

During the group work and pair activities we will move around the different groups to check their understanding.

Oral feedback in their carpet places

TELLING TIME

Power point presentation to summarise all the contents we have been learning about the time in the unit and to check kids understanding.

Activity one:Half of the students in the class will have a flashcard with a digital clock and the other group of students will have the same times but in an analog clock.
