The Cruel War

Overview

The Cruel War is a War film set during the Second World War and is about a Squad of soldiers that are forced to carry out an assignment on their own due to their Commander being injured and killed. The sergeant soon takes control and leads the squad through an action packed battle in which they must take control of when behind enemy territory they have to find and destroy a nuclear weapon before returning home to their families.

• CDR Gordon. Commander Gordon Plays as one of the main focal points in my drama as he plays one of the key emotional scenes as he is killed off within the first half of the drama.

• SGT: SGT plays a big role within the drama he will also be a very sturn character but will also have a type of soft side he will be the leader of the group he also informs his team on what to do to survive.

• Rookie: plays a small part in my drama but is still one of the main actors he will have small parts through. He is very quiet and mainly takes orders.

• Recruit: Recruit also plays a big role within my radio drama he is always by the SGT’s side helping him make decisions and assuring that the task is complete without any casualties. He plays as like a second in command type of role.
