Students measure the circumference of the Earth
using simple means
Use ISE eLearning tool to find local noon
At that time they measure the
shadow shaped by an
one-metre stick and they note it
They contact a school on the same medieval and they
exchange data
Using their data and their schools they succeed in measuring the circumference of the Earth
