Previous 2050 projections predicted US population would rise to 438 Million with 109.5 million Hispanics (25%)
In 2050, 30% of the population will be Hispanic (128 million).

The 2010 purchasing power of Hispanics has increased to $2 trillion from $1 trillion.
Seventy percent of the nation's Hispanic population is under the age of 30.
More importantly, they will be paying into social security when the baby boomers will be retiring.
The population of the Quad Cities region is 376,019 with approximately 45,122 Hispanics (all generations).

The Hispanic population in Scott and Rock Island Counties has grown 83% since 1990.
In 2000 local estimates had the Hispanic population in the IL QC reaching 45,000 in 2015, however, the Hispanic population growth has surpassed estimates.
Eighty-nine percent of the working Hispanic population makes over $15,000 and under $60,000 per year.
Locally, Hispanic earning power is approximately $630 million to $1 billion per year.
