BIAOWIEABiaowiea is in north-eastern Poland in the Podlaskie Voivodeship near theborder with Belarus.The nearest city is Biaystok, which is the capital of the voivodeship.Biaowiea is famous for its the oldest European forests. In Biaowiea created the reserve which was inscribed on the WorldHeritage List in 1992 and internationally recognized as a Biosphere Reserveunder UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere Program in 1993. 5. SOWISKI NATIONALPARK Sowiski National Park is a National Park in Pomeranian Voivodeship, northernPoland.It is situated on the Baltic coast, between eba and Rowy. In the past, the parks area was a Baltic Sea bay. The seas activity, however, created sand dunes which in the course of timeseparated the bay from the Baltic Sea. As waves and wind carry sand inland the dunes slowly move, at a speed of 3 to10 meters per year.
