Introduction As the founder, director, and principal investigator of

the Art of Science Learning, Harvey Seifter oversees a National Science Foundation-funded initiative that explores how art and creativity can enhance STEM skills and help build an innovative American workforce. Also an accomplished researcher and educator, Harvey Seifter was recently appointed a visiting associate professor at the Pratt Institute in New York, NY.

In addition to its array of academic programs for undergraduate and graduate students, the Pratt Institute offers numerous continuing education programs for creative professionals.

Studies (SCPS) recently expanded its offerings to include more online courses, certificate programs, and non-credit classes.

Professionals and other nontraditional students can now earn certificates in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Design, UX/UI Mobile Design, and Advanced Perfumery. Beyond the new certificate programs, SCPS also offers business training and computer graphics courses for corporate employees, professional development programs for architects and engineers, and a pre-college program for students in the 10th through 12th grades.
