Al Muhallab bin Abi Safra (Arabic:  , بن المهّل;ب سعيد أبواألزدي صNNفرة ,also known as Abu Said (c. 632 ,(أبي

Oman/UAE – February 702, Khorasan), was an Azdi Arab warrior and general, originally from Dibba/Dabba on present-day Oman-UAE border. He was an important participant in the political developments of his time and the object of many poets' praise. He took part in thr Holy (jihad) against the Persians in the battle of Qadissiyah under the leadership of Sa’ad Bin Abi Waqas. (r.a.)

The Battle of Qadissiya

• Battle of Qadisiyah took place in Qadisiyah city (Southeastern of Iraq ) in 636 AD In the era of caliph Omar bin AL-Khattab, who sent the Muslim army and the approximately 36,000 veterans, led by army chief Saad bin Abi Waqas, this army faced Persian army numbering 180,000 veterans, led by Rustam, the bloody battle lasted three days and ended with the a great decisive victory for Muslims who opened Persia and spread the Islamic religion

Huthaifah bin Al – Yamani

He was an inhabitant of Dabba. The Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.) sent him a message ordering him to collect Zakat (alms) to distribute to the poor, and to send the remaining amount to him at Al Madina Al Munawara. When the Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.) died, Huthaifa fougth against those who refrained from paying Zakat during the reign of Abu Bakr (R.A).
