What is Contribution?

• Contribution is the act of a person for the success of the team/company as well as for improving his/her personal capabilities, personal fulfillment etc.

• In every work, every role, there is a possibility of

• -Contributing to self• -Contributing to team/organization• -Contributing to society

Example.• A shopkeeper who is selling goods to

customers can contribute to himself, Organization, to Society in these ways……

Contribution to Society.

• A contributing shopkeeper will sell goods of best quality and he will keep track of expiry date of each product to satisfy his customers.

• This is considered as the contribution to society because due to his contribution the products soled by him would by trustworthy and reliable.

Contribution to self

• As a result of the contribution to the society, people will trust that shopkeeper more than others.

• This will effect his personal as well as his professional life.

• He will also get better opportunity to sell more good quality products.

Contribution to Organization

• The sale of goods will be more and hence the shopkeeper will get more profit in a month/ year.

• He can also increase income of workers under him.

• The trust behavior can lead to make more contributions not only to self, but to the company or to the society also.

• It can create self confidence which can ultimately lead to further more contributions as well as benefits.
