Transforming lives. One student at time” (Blueprint, 2010); isn’t just as saying at Education Corporation of America but is in fact a way of life. ECA is a collection of six higher educational institutions that provide life altering experiences to students. ECA has been around since nineteen eighty-three, and with its many locations across the US is able to provide masters, associates, and bachelor degrees as well as certificate and diploma courses (Schools, 2013). The number one goal of ECA and all six of its schools is to build scalable career platforms that will be recognized for its high quality programs, predictable results, and superior operating systems (Blueprint, 2010). Each institution is able to put students and all their needs first and each has a management that creates routines that avoids surprises and seeks solutions verses excuses when problems do arise. All of this is done which allows us to have one team that shares a common goal of transforming lives through education (Blueprint, 2010). The six institutions that all share these principles and one common goal are as follows, Virginia College (26 locations), Virginia College Online, Culinard The Culinary Institute of Virginia College, Golf Academy of America, Ecotech Institute, and lastly the New England College of Business and Finance (Schools, 2013).
