Don’t forget the skills. Writing, reading and listening takes the pressure off you.
Change the focus and pace of the lesson Have short breaks, change the subject, keep the
students on their toes.
Have extra backup material readily available at all times.
Don’t be afraid to have ‘just conversation’. This can often benefit the student as much as
a ‘grammar presentation’.
