development!AO1 - Record observations, experiences and ideas in forms that are
appropriate to intentions.
AO2 - Analyse and evaluate images, objects and artefacts showing
understanding of context.
AO3 - Develop and explore ideas using media,
processes and resources, reviewing,
modifying and refining work as it progresses.
AO4 - Present a personal response, realising intentions and making

Developing an idea, firstly
• Choose one of the artist references or image
that you goes with your initial idea .
• Stick the artists reference/image into your
sketchbook
• Write a list of at least 5 words describing the
image underneath.
• Write how you think it links to the exam
theme - apart and or together.
• Write a paragraph describing how it links to
your idea.
Secondly, create an A4 page of
development
• Use the same
materials to create a
more detailed version
of your idea for the
final piece .
• Include images, words,
colours and textures.
• Think about the
composition.
Write Up!• Include the example/image that you chose.
• Five words that describe the image.
• Write down the process you completed, creating your own version.
• Write a paragraph how your development links to the theme and the artist work.
• What have you learnt today?On reflection how would you use these techniques again?
