Enrollment Steps Step 1: Complete the online application.  Go to hawaiitechacademy.org.  Click on

the “Enroll Now” tab to get started.]

Step 2: Turn in ALL of the required documents. You can find the list of documents on our website under Step 2 of the “Enroll Now” page.

Step 3: Schedule a placement assessment.  A member of our enrollment team will contact you to arrange an assessment for your child.   Applicants in grades K and 1 will take a 45-minute, face-to-face assessment.  Applicants in grades 2-9 will take a 2-hour, multiple choice online assessment.  All assessments are administered at the HTA Learning Center located in Waipahu.  

Step 4: Participate in a placement conference. An HTA Placement Coordinator will contact you via phone to discuss assessment results, course recommendations, and the final steps of the enrollment process.

 Step 5: Follow through with final enrollment paperwork.  Based on the advice from the Placement Coordinator, submit the appropriate paperwork required to finalize enrollment.
