• Be hard on your team, but harder on your self during self-evaluation.

• Great teams train and trade team-members on a continual basis.

• Everyone loves a soft-manger, but everyone respects a great coach and leader.

• Choose your path carefully – to be loved or to be respected.

6. Be Self-Aware of Your Own Hype and Type - Branding

• Be honest with yourself and determine the extent of your hype – versus type.

• Stand-out with your balanced ‘hype’ and ‘Type’.

• If you have followed commands 1-5 – You will have balance and a ‘persona’ that is aligned with mission and a winning and dynamic team.

7. Know The Competition • Competitive knowledge serves at all levels for

benchmarking and self-awareness. • All executives love employees who are

balanced and diversified across the company and the industry. It’s added value to know competition and ‘recipes to success and failures.’

embrace change, and can orchestrate paradigm shifts when needed.

• Never make IT sound complicated. • Downplay technology and overplay digital

access and innovation. • Always insist that IT is a commodity and your

team is moving towards Innovation. • IT = Innovation and Technology

9. Operate at a high level of EQ• Have 10 -20 personality types to win in every

setting. • Adjust to change and ideas quicker and faster

than others. • Let others know sub-consciously that it does not

work if they want to compete against your team or you.
