TV SHOW RESEARCH

This is a PowerPoint of all the primary and secondary research we have

done about TV shows in order to make our own.

For primary research we created a questionnaire on a website called

Survey Monkey and got people to answer it a via web link and Facebook

to gather various information about watching TV, e.g. what is the most

popular TV genre and what is the most popular time to watch TV and

what the most popular channels are. We have done this because the

data we have collected will allow us to chose the correct place in the

market for our TV show we are inventing.

For secondary research we looked up and made note of the most

popular TV shows and channels, etc. We did this to ensure our

programme didn’t clash with other programmes like ours, for example…

it to be on at the same time as another reality show like ours as it would

be very competitive and it risks having a low rate of viewers.
