The Reformer

The advert presented shows one of Evians's water ads that targets the reformer. The name Evian doesn’t present any themes but the slogan Life Fuel together with the brands image of mountain ranges and a tree to suggest it associates the product with the theme of Independence. How this is targeted at reformers is how the tree emerging from the bottle can be a representative of the reformers desire for self-regeneration in the sense of a creating a transformed part of their old selves striving after ideals and wanting to be in the realm of absolute.

Secondly the slogan Life fuel and Mountain image both illuminate the support growth and the strength that comes within it in the reformer as they are curious and enquiring for the favoring of natural simplicity.

The Explorer

This advert for Mont Blanc Legend‘s women's perfume shows that it has targeted the ‘Explorer’. Firstly the name “Mont Blanc Legend” suggests people trying to seek new ideas as “Mont Blanc” is actually a name of a mountain empathizing the audience are people seeking freedom from the everyday routine of life and to reach out for new experiences. Secondly, the name of the product “legend” in my opinion means suggest that they’re marketing for people who further push their differences and their boundaries in life and indulge themselves into new sensations.
